Meanwhile-Back on the Farm

I was told that my style of blogging is called “Life Style Blogging”. It is true, I am not doing this to earn an income, so I am not doing research to bring to my readers any exciting new discoveries.

What I do is just blog about what I do. If it blesses you and I make a little bit of income through Cody Dog’s Amazon affiliate-that is great.

But I have been talking a lot about becoming a nurse, taking care of mom and finding the perfect job for me.

Now it is time to get back out on the farm and tell you what we are up to in order to raise food for our family and add joy to our lives.

October is my favorite month of the year. March is beautiful too in the desert but during March we are looking to a long hot summer. In October-the nights are cooling down and the cool mornings remind us that the holidays are coming.

My regular followers know that I plant a new garden every month. My original purpose in doing this is to show my friends that you can indeed plant and harvest every month of the year in the desert. It is a hard concept-but once you get it-you will never want to go back to a 1 or 2 season a year garden.

So for your viewing pleasure, here are my September and October garden beds.
