A Day’s Harvest in January

A day in January

A day in January

My garden certainly rewards me for all the work that I do to keep it fertile. This is a picture of today’s harvest. I think that those eggplants have decided to stay forever!

We have some neighbors that are visiting from Wisconsin. I was curious to see them setting in their lounge chairs soaking in the sun.  So I went over and introduced myself. I found them to be delightful, and invited them over to see the garden. Of coarse they are not used to seeing a veggie garden producing anything this time of year. I think that we are going to make snow birds out of them yet.
