Potatoes on Purpose

So I planted potatoes in January. Some people told me that they do not plant potatoes, because they feel that they are cheap enough in the store. I would encourage anyone to plant them.

Last week, I harvested some red potatoes, today I harvested some Yukon Gold. I made a chicken stew with them, I could not decide which ones to use. So, I used both kinds. Oh my! Soft and creamy, melt in your mouth yumminess. Is that even a word? Oh well, it is now.

For those of you who have not explored the idea of planting potatoes, you may want to try it next year. The ones at the store just do not even come close.

Don’t worry, I will remind you when it is time.
